September 17, 2013 (Matthews, NC) — Acquitted Books (http://www.acquittedbooks.com) is the newest imprint for the Supposed Crimes publishers. Acquitted Books focuses on stories by Supposed Crimes authors that fall outside Supposed Crimes mandate–to bring quality lesbian genre fiction to market.
Acquitted Books will focus in two separate areas: mixed gender erotica, and young adult. Owner C. E. Case says, “We hope these stories will be freed from the restraints of traditional publishers, including Supposed Crimes, and that our authors will have an opportunity to play outside the lines.”
Currently submissions are closed. Only authors already with the publisher are eligible to publish under this imprint.
