As a lesbian publisher, it's ironic perhaps that our first author, Geonn Cannon, is our most award-winning. He exemplifies that the best kind of writing can come from anyone and we don't discriminate based on gender or sexuality. We're proud of him and we're proud of our LGBTQ authors. Everyone is making a difference and getting recognized for it during awards season.
2017 saw Tamara Boyens, another "non-traditional" writer of lesbian genre fiction, win best Sci-Fi Book of the Year and 5th overall Lesbian Interest.
Our trans and nonbinary books and authors are making headway, with genderqueer hero Cat Rowland getting Runner Up in the Rainbow Awards. Cat's fervent fan following is now matched by critical acclaim.
Awards include the Golden Crown Literary Society award and the Rainbow Awards award. We submit to awards all over the world and in all genres, including national awards like ALA Stonewall. Our books deserve recognition, and we're proud to be an LGBTQ publisher of recognized quality.
